Warcraft Movie: Stormwind Keep and Atiesh

As you may know, Chris Metzen is kind of a big deal when it comes to the Warcraft franchise. He has helped develop the Warcraft games since its conception with Warcraft: Orcs and Humans and since 2002, he has been a Creative Director at Blizzard Entertainment. Chris makes a cameo in the Warcraft Movie as a perfume merchant. When he had the chance to walk through the Stormwind set, he said simply, "I'm just a total fan again and after 20 years that's a real gift." It's humbling to have someone so invested in the Warcraft development still get misty-eyed about Warcraft coming to life.

For me, personally, the excitement and hype train for the movie is still going strong!

Warcraft Movie – An Orc in the Keep

Rob Kazinsky, who plays Orgrim Doomhammer in the Warcraft movie, also happens to be an avid World of Warcraft player. He was able to walk around in the Stormwind Keep Throne Room, and it's worth mentioning that Kazinsky plays Horde; "There is an Orc… in Stormwind Keep. *Laughs*". He seemed utterly mesmerized while viewing the Throne Room in person.

A Legendary Weapon On-Screen

Medivh is the Guardian of Tirisfal during the Warcraft movie; a  position that holds much power, but is supposed to be a secretive organization. The Greatstaff Atiesh, was handed down to Medivh by his mother Aegwynn, who was the Guardian before him. It remains to be seen how Medivh's story will pan out in the movie.

I enjoy walks on the beach, craft beer and World of Warcraft. Unfortunately only two of those work well together. I love Warcraft Lore, playing the game with friends and having a good time ;)
