Genji Guide Main Sm

Genji

Genji is a deadly mobile flanker. His high burst damage potential, coupled with his ability to make a fast escape makes him one of the deadliest foes on the battlefield.

Real Name: Genji Shimada, Age: 35
Occupation: Adventurer
Base of Operations: Shambali Monastery, Nepal
Affiliation: Shimada Clan (formerly), Overwatch (formerly)

Health: 200
Difficulty: ***

Shuriken (Left Click) - Genji looses three deadly throwing stars in quick succession. Alternatively, he can throw three shuriken in a wider spread.
Ammo: 24
Fire Rate: 3 rps
Cooldown/Reload: 1 sec
Damage: 28 (Up to 84 damage)

Fan of Blades (Right Click)
Ammo: 24
Fire Rate: 5.3 rps
Damage: 28 (Up to 84 damage)

Swift Strike (Shift) - Genji darts forward, slashing with his katana and passing through foes in his path. If Genji eliminates a target, he can instantly use this ability again.
Cooldown: 8 Sec
Damage: 50
Range: 14-15 Meters
Notes: Swift Strike is reset by an enemy kill or by activation of Dragonblade.

Deflect: (E) - With lightning-quick swipes of his sword, Genji reflects an oncoming projectile and sends it rebounding towards his opponent.
Duration: 2 Sec
Cooldown: 8 Sec
Notes: Deflect can headshot if deflected projectiles can.

Ultimate: Dragonblade (Q) - Genji brandishes his katana for a brief period of time. Until he sheathes his sword, Genji can deliver killing strikes to any targets within his reach.
Fire Rate: 1 swing/sec
Cast Time: 1 sec
Duration: 8 sec
Damage: 120
Range: 5 Meters
Notes: Resets Swift Strike Cooldown when cast.

Passive: Cyber Agility - Grants wall climb and double jump.

Quick Tips:

  • Genji’s strengths come from his high mobility and potential for high levels of burst damage. His particular toolkit gives him the ability to solo almost every offensive hero and support; however, he has difficulty against heroes with large health pools.
  • Swift Strike goes off of cooldown when Genji kills an opponent. Use this to either set up a string of kills or to retreat quickly out of a dangerous situation.
  • Genji’s combos can put out a deadly amount of burst damage: by sequencing a Shuriken attack, following it with a Swift Strike, and then following those attacks with a melee and another Shuriken attack, Genji can deal more than 150 damage in just a couple seconds.
  • Genji’s deflect can counter many heroes’ abilities, and can deflect ultimates including the projectiles for Mei’s Blizzard, Hanzo’s Dragonstrike and Zarya’s Graviton Surge.
Mccree Guide Main sm

McCree

McCree is a high damage hero, best at medium and short range. He is particularly adept at shredding tanks, and locking down highly mobile heroes.

Real Name: Jesse McCree, Age: 37
Occupation: Bounty Hunter
Base of Operations: Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA
Affiliation: Overwatch (formerly)

Health: 200
Difficulty: **

Peacekeeper (Left Click) -McCree fires off a round from his trusty six-shooter. He can fan the Peacekeeper’s hammer to swiftly unload the entire cylinder.
Ammo: 6
Fire Rate: 2 rps
Reload: 1.5 sec
Damage: 35-70 (Subject to falloff)

Peacekeeper Alt-Fire (Right Click)
Fire Rate: 6 rps

Cooldown: 10 sec
Damage: 25
Stun Duration: 0.7 sec
Range: 5 meters; 2 meter explosion radius

Ultimate: Deadeye (Q) - Focus. Mark. Draw. McCree takes a few precious moments to aim; when he’s ready to fire, he shoots every enemy in his line of sight. The weaker his targets are, the faster he’ll line up a killshot.
Duration: 6 sec
Damage: ~170/sec charged

Quick Tips:

  • McCree is one of the least most mobile offense heroes, but he makes up for that with the ability to output a blistering amount of damage. His strengths come at cutting through tanks, and his ability to lock down and kill mobile heroes.
  • McCree's main combo involves using Flashbang on an opponent, using his alt fire to unload a clip of damage, and then using Combat Roll to reload and shoot another Alt-Fire round.
  • McCree’s Alt-Fire is also particularly good at cutting through high health units like tanks.
  • McCree’s shots have a damage falloff at long range, making him less useful against snipers and aerial classes.
Pharah Guide Main sm

Pharah

Pharah uses her aerial prowess to gain an upper hand against her opponents. She is best on maps with a lot of vertical terrain to abuse.

Real Name: Fareeha Amari, Age: 32
Occupation: Security Chief
Base of Operations: Giza, Egypt
Affiliation: Helix Security International

Health: 200
Difficulty: *

Rocket Launcher (Left Click) -
Pharah’s primary weapon launches rockets that deal significant damage in a wide blast radius.
Ammo: 6
Fire Rate: 1.1 rps
Reload: 1 sec
Damage: 120; 80 splash; 40 to self
Range: 3 meter explosion radius

Jump Jet (Shift) - Propelled by her suit’s thrusters, Pharah soars high into the air.
Cooldown: 10 sec

Hover Jets (Space) -
Channeled
Duration: 2 sec
Cooldown: 2 sec

Concussive Blast (E) - Pharah looses a wrist rocket that knocks back any enemies it strikes.
Cooldown: 12 sec
Range: 8 meter explosion radius

Ultimate: Barrage (Q) - Pharah directs a continuous salvo of mini-rockets to destroy groups of enemies.
Fire Rate: ~30 rockets/sec
Duration: 3 sec
Damage: 36 damage/rocket; 3600 damage total

Quick Tips:

  • Like Junkrat, Pharah is particularly powerful if she can gain an aerial advantage over her opponents. She is also very strong against groups of enemies, and is very capable of quickly eliminating squishy, important to kill heroes on the enemy backlines.
  • Her rockets take some practice getting used to; however, with enough practice she is capable of juggling heroes for a short time.
  • Be careful of spending too much time hovering in the air as Pharah; it makes her very vulnerable, particularly to heroes like Widowmaker with fast projectiles.
  • Her ultimate is very powerful, but it leaves her very vulnerable. Try to use it in conjunction with Zarya or Reinhardt’s ultimates.
Reaper Guide Main sm

Reaper

Reaper is a semi-mobile close range hero. He is best when tearing apart high health heroes like Winston.

Real Name: Unknown, Age: Unknown
Occupation: Mercenary
Base of Operations: Unknown
Affiliation: Unknown

Health: 250
Difficulty: *

Hellfire Shotguns (Left Click) -
Reaper tears enemies apart with twin shotguns.
Ammo: 8
Fire rate: 2 rps
Reload: 1.5 sec
Damage: 2-7 per pellet; Max 140 damage (subject to falloff)

Wraith Form (Shift) - Reaper becomes a shadow for a short period of time. While in this form, he takes no damage and is able to pass through enemies, but cannot fire his weapons or use other abilities.
Duration: 3 sec
Cooldown: 8 sec
Immune to all damage and debuffs in Wraith Form.

Shadow Step (E) - After marking a destination, Reaper disappears and reappears at that location.
Cast time: 2 sec
Cooldown: 10 sec
Range: 35 meters

Passive: The Reaping -
Health gained: 50 health
Range: 5 meter radius

Ultimate: Death Blossom (Q) - In a blur of motion, Reaper empties both Hellfire Shotguns at breakneck speed, dealing massive damage to all nearby enemies.
Duration: 3 sec
Damage: 600 total (20 per tick)
Range: 8 meter radius

Quick Tips:

  • Reaper is best at tearing through tanks. He deals massive damage at short range, and has a built in flank ability with Shadow Step and a built in escape with Wraith Form.
  • Reaper needs to play sneaky. His damage is terrible at long range, and he is a little too squishy to just run at the opposing team; instead, he should use Shadow Step to move behind the lines and surprise his enemies.
  • Use Wraith Form to disengage enemies. The best play is to kill a target before the team knows what is going and retreat just as fast.
  • Be careful about telegraphing your ultimate too much. Wraith Forming in and then pressing ‘Q’ can only get so far, as the opposing team will either scatter or kill Reaper on sight. It is better to start the ultimate from behind a corner or above the opposing team, giving them less time to react.
Soldier 76 Guide Main sm

Soldier: 76

Soldier 76 gives his team sustained damage at medium to close range, and he is the only non-support hero who is able to heal his team.

Real Name: Unknown, Age: Unknown
Occupation: Vigilante
Base of Operations: Unknown
Affiliation: Overwatch (formerly)

Health: 200
Difficulty: *

Heavy Pulse Rifle (Left Click) -
Soldier: 76’s rifle remains particularly steady while unloading fully-automatic pulse fire.
Ammo: 25
Fire Rate: 10 rps
Reload: 1 sec
Damage: 17 (Subject to falloff)

Helix Rockets (Right Click) - Tiny rockets spiral out of Soldier: 76’s Pulse Rifle in a single burst. The rockets’ explosion damages enemies in a small radius.
Cooldown: 8 sec
Damage: 120 (80 splash damage; up to 40 damage to self)
Helix Rockets can be used to rocket jump.

Sprint (Shift) - Whether he needs to evade a firefight or get back into one, Soldier: 76 can rush ahead in a burst of speed. His sprint ends if he takes an action other than charging forward.

Biotic Field (Q) - Soldier: 76 plants a biotic emitter on the ground. Its energy projection restores health to 76 and any of his squadmates within the field.
Duration: 5 sec
Cooldown: 15 sec
Heals: 40 health/sec
Range: 5 meter radius

Ultimate: Tactical Visor (Q) - Soldier: 76’s pinpoint targeting visor “locks” his aim on the threat closest to his crosshairs. If an enemy leaves his line of sight, Soldier: 76 can quickly switch to another target.
Duration: 6 sec
Activating Tactical Visor refills ammo.

Quick tips:

  • Soldier: 76 is a simple hero, best at engaging and reengaging enemies while outputting heavy damage. He does not offer much specifically to a team, but he makes up for it with versatility.
  • Remember to use up most of a clip before activating Soldier 76’s ultimate, since the ammo automatically reloads.
  • Soldier: 76 is best at medium range; he has difficulty against enemies like Widowmaker who can attack beyond Soldier: 76’s falloff.
  • Try to use Helix Rockets as a finishing move. The extra burst Helix Rockets provides can surprise an opponent, making it so a Winston or Lucio are unable to get their ultimates off in time.
  • Biotic Field can help Soldier: 76’s entire team, so even if your is not hurt, you might still need to use the ability.
Tracer Guide Main sm

Tracer

Tracer is a fragile, short range flanking hero. While she can be killed very quickly, she is able to deftly avoid damage while also outputting a ton of damage herself.

Real Name: Lena Oxton, Age: 26
Occupation: Adventurer
Base of Operations: London, England
Affiliation: Overwatch (formerly)

Pulse Pistols (Left Click) - "Tracer rapid-fires both of her pistols."
Ammo: 40
Fire Rate: 40 rps
Reload: 1 sec
Damage: 1.5-6 (Damage subject to falloff)

Blink (Shift) - "Tracer zips horizontally through space in the direction she’s moving, and reappears several yards away. She stores up to three charges of the blink ability and generates more every few seconds."
Ammo: 3 Charges
Cooldown: 3 sec/charge
Range: ~7 meters
Tracer is able to blink in any horizontal direction, not just forward.

Recall (E) - "Tracer bounds backward in time, returning her health, ammo and position on the map to precisely where they were a few seconds before."
Duration: 1.25 sec (Recalls back 3 seconds)
Cooldown: 12 sec

Ultimate: Pulse Bomb (Q) - "Tracer lobs a large bomb that adheres to any surface or unfortunate opponent it lands on. After a brief delay, the bomb explodes, dealing high damage to all enemies within its blast radius."
Cast Time: 1 Sec
Damage: 400 (5 damage for initial stick)
Range: 3 meter radius

Quick Tips:

  • Tracer is a fast paced, powerful hero. She is particularly adept at picking off squishy heroes like Zenyatta with a single clip, and in the hands of a strong player, her mobility makes her niegh unkillable.
  • Tracer is capable of Blinking sideways or backwards, so practice moving around a map without Blinking forward.
  • Tracer’s basic combo involves unloading a clip into her enemies and finishing them off with a single melee attack.
  • Tracer is best at engaging as a flanker, so do not rush into an engagement with multiple heroes around. Find a way around the tanks and damage dealers and kill the supports.

Defense Heroes

Bastion Guide Main sm

Bastion

Bastion is an anchor for any team. Capable of outputting an insane amount of raw damage in his sentry form, the opposing team must have a solution to Bastion or die.

Real Name: SST Laboratories Siege Automaton E54, “Bastion" , Age: 30
Occupation: Battle Automaton
Base of Operations: Unknown
Affiliation: None

Health: 200
Armor: 100
Difficulty: *
Configuration: Recon (Left Click) -
In Recon mode, Bastion is fully mobile, outfitted with a submachine gun that fires steady bursts of bullets at medium range.
Ammo: 20
Fire Rate: 8 rps
Reload: 2 sec
Damage: 6-20 (Subject to damage falloff)

Configuration: Sentry (Left Click) - In Sentry mode, Bastion is a stationary powerhouse equipped with a gatling gun capable of unleashing a hail of bullets. The gun's aim can be 'walked' across multiple targets, dealing devastating damage at short to medium range.
Ammo: 200
Fire Rate: ~30 rps
Reload: 2.5 sec
Damage: 4-15 (Subject to damage falloff)

Reconfigure (Shift) - Bastion transforms between its two primary combat modes to adapt to battlefield conditions.
Sentry to Recon Duration: 1 Sec
Recon to Sentry Duration: 0.5 sec

Self-Repair (E) - Bastion restores its health; it cannot move or fire weapons while the repair process is in effect.
Cast Time: Channeled
Cooldown: 1 sec (if interrupted)
Heals: 25% health/sec

Ultimate: Configuration Tank (Q) - In Tank mode, Bastion extends wheeled treads and a powerful long-range cannon. The cannon’s explosive shells demolish targets in a wide blast radius, but Bastion can only remain in this mode for a limited time.
Cast Time: 1 sec
Duration: 1 sec
Damage: 205
Range: 4 meter explosion radius.
Bonus health: Activating Configuration: Tank will add 150 Armor to your current health, but not heal any missing health.

Quick Tips

  • Bastion is powerful when correctly positioned. He can tear through an opposing team, but if he is in the line of sight of an opposing Widowmaker, or if he is just not near the area of battle, then he is of little use to his team.
  • While Configuration: Sentry is extremely powerful, do not underestimate the potential power of Configuration: Recon. Bastion can go toe to toe with many other damage dealing classes in Configuration: Recon.
  • Team up with a Mercy or a Reinhardt and rain damage on your enemies; however, always be wary of opposing Symetras, as they can deal massive damage to stationary targets.
  • Bastion can even be used on attacking teams, either as a way to hold a forward position, or snuck into the flank to decimate the defending backline.
Hanzo Guide Main sm

Hanzo

Hanzo is not quite a sniper, as he is best at medium range. He has the potential to swing fights with his high damage output and his powerful, wall piercing ultimate.

Real Name: Hanzo Shimada, Age: 38
Occupation: Mercenary, Assassin
Base of Operations: Hanamura, Japan (formerly)
Affiliation: Shimada Clan

Health: 200
Difficulty: ***

Storm Bow (Left Click) -
Hanzo nocks and fires an arrow at his target.
Ammo: Infinite
Fire Rate: 1 rps
Cast Time: 0.5 sec to full
Damage: 29-125

Sonic Arrow (Shift) - Hanzo launches an arrow that contains a sonar tracking device. Any enemy within its detection radius is visibly marked, making them easier for Hanzo and his allies to hunt down.
Cast Time: 0.5 to full
Cooldown: 20 sec
Damage: 29-125
Range: 10 meter reveal radius

Scatter Arrow (E) - Hanzo shoots a fragmenting arrow that ricochets off walls and objects and can strike multiple targets at once.
Cast Time: 0.5 to full
Cooldown: 10 sec
Damage: 6 Arrows; 75 per arrow

Passive: Wall Climb (Space) -
Hanzo can climb walls.

Ultimate: Dragonstrike (Q) - Hanzo summons a Spirit Dragon which travels through the air in a line. It passes through walls in its way, devouring any enemies it encounters.
Cast Time: 1.5 sec
Damage :>200 dps
Range: 4 meter radius

Quick Tips:

  • Hanzo is not like Widowmaker; he is much better at medium and close range.
  • Combo Hanzo with heroes like Zarya and Reinhardt to combo entire teams to death in a matter of seconds.
  • Bounce Scatter Arrow off of the ground to utilize it in open areas. This skill is particularly good at tearing through tanks.
  • Dragonstrike can go through walls. Take advantage of that ability and surprise your opponents when they least expect it.
Junkrat Guide Main sm

Junkrat

Junkrat can output damage from around corners and from high above his enemies. His damage output is high, but his accuracy suffers.

Real Name: Jamison Fawkes, Age: 25
Occupation: Anarchist, Thief, Demolitionist, Mercenary, Scavenger
Base of Operations: Junkertown, Australia (formerly)
Affiliation: Junkers (formerly)

Health: 200
Difficulty: **

Frag Launcher (Right Click) -
Junkrat's Frag Launcher lobs grenades a significant distance. They bounce to reach their destination, and blow up when they strike an enemy.
Ammo: 5
Fire Rate: 1.66
Reload: 1.5 sec
Damage: 120 direct hits
Range: 2 meter explosion radius

Concussion Mine (Shift) - After placing one of his homemade Concussion Mines, Junkrat can trigger it to damage enemies and send them flying... or propel himself through the air.
Cooldown: 8 sec
Damage: 120
Range: 3 meter explosion radius

Steel Trap (E) - Junkrat tosses out a giant, metal-toothed trap. Should an enemy wander too close to the trap, it clamps on, injuring and immobilizing them.
Duration: 3
Cooldown: 10
Damage: 80
Range: 1 meter trigger distance

Passive: Total Mayhem - Junkrat's deranged sense of humor persists past his death. If killed, he drops several live grenades.
Damage: Max 300

Ultimate: Rip-Tire (Q) - Junkrat revs up a motorized tire bomb and sends it rolling across the battlefield, climbing over walls and obstacles. He can remotely detonate the RIP-Tire to deal serious damage to enemies caught in the blast, or just wait for it to explode on its own.
Cast Time: 1 sec
Duration: 10 sec
Damage: 600
Range: 10 meter explosion radius
Health: 100

Quick Tips:

  • Junkrat’s toolkit gives him the ability to harass opponents from out of line of sight. He is best when positioned above enemies, and he can output a large amount of damage to the opposing team; however, his primary damage is difficult to land consecutively.
  • Junkrat can use the concussion mine either to move quickly around the map (particularly to hard to reach areas), or as an escape by placing it below him, or as a tool to finish off opponents.
  • While Steel Trap is hard to place, and vulnerable to being destroyed, once caught most heroes are doomed to die. Use it. Love it.
  • Practice bouncing mines off of walls and other objects in the game. Junkrat is uniquely able to deal damage without putting himself in direct danger.
  • Rip-Tire deals a ton of damage to a small area, but be careful because shields can block all of that damage without harming the team behind it. Also be wary about sending the tire in directly, as the opposing team can destroy the tire by attacking it.
Mei Guide Main sm

Mei

Mei offers a number of unique abilities to her team. She is strong at close range, and she is uniquely survivable even to the heaviest of attacks.

Health: 200
Difficulty: ***

Endothermic Blaster (Left Click) -
Mei’s blaster unleashes a concentrated, short-range stream of frost that damages, slows, and ultimately freezes enemies in place. Mei can also use her blaster to shoot icicle-like projectiles at medium range.
Ammo: 200
Fire Rate: 20 rps
Damage: 45 dps
Range: 10 meters
Damage to Freeze: 70

Endothermic Blaster: Icicle (Right-Click) -
Ammo: 25/shot
Fire Rate: 1.8 rps
Damage: 22-25

Cryo-Freeze (Shift) - Mei instantly surrounds herself with a block of thick ice. She heals and ignores damage while encased, but cannot move or use abilities.
Duration: 4 sec max
Cooldown: 12 sec
Heals: 150 health

Ice Wall (E) - Mei generates an enormous ice wall that obstructs lines of sight, stops movement, and blocks attacks.
Health: 500
Duration: 4.5 sec
Cooldown: 10 sec
Range: 35 meters

Ultimate: Blizzard (Q) - Mei deploys a weather-modification drone that emits gusts of wind and snow in a wide area. Enemies caught in the blizzard are slowed and take damage; those who linger too long are frozen solid.
Cast Time: 1.5 sec
Duration: 5 sec
Damage: 97
Range: 8 meter radius

Quick Tips

  • Mei is best described as a utility hero, and while her toolkit is powerful, it is hard to use effectively. She is unique to the game as her Right Click provides a powerful stun, and her left click can deal serious damage.
  • Ice Wall has many uses. It can block things like D.Va’s ultimate, or be used as a mobility tool to jump up levels for Mei or other, less mobile heroes.
  • Mei can hold a position or point for a very long time with proper cooldown use, and she can be a real pest for invading forces.
  • Although her Right click DPS is low, her Left Click has the potential to headshot for 150 damage. If she can get one or two headshots off during a fight, she can swing the battle; however, if she cannot she has a hard time dealing enough damage to be particularly effective.
Torbjorn Guide Main sm

Torbjorn

Torbjorn is a static defense hero, capable of holding a large amount of space with the help of his turret. He also brings a ton of utility to the team with his armor packs.

Real Name: Torbjörn Lindholm, Age: 57
Occupation: Weapons Designer
Base of Operations: Gothenburg, Sweden
Affiliation: Overwatch (formerly)

Health: 200
Difficulty: **

Rivet Gun (Left Click) -Torbjörn fires rivets at long range, or ejects molten metal from his gun in a short, close-range burst.
Ammo: 18
Fire Rate: 1.7 rps
Reload: 2 sec
Damage: 70

Rivet Gun Alt-Fire (Right Click) -
Ammo: 3 per shot

Armor Pack (E) - Torbjörn deploys an armor upgrade; either he or his allies can pick it up to absorb some damage.
Cost: 50 Scrap
Armor Given: 75

Torbjorn’s Turret (Shift) -Torbjörn constructs an enemy-tracking autocannon. He can use his Forge Hammer to repair or upgrade it, increasing its health and adding a second cannon barrel and a rocket launcher.
Cooldown: 8 sec
Level 1:
Health: 150
Fire Rate: 2 rps
Damage: 14/shot
Level 2:
Health: 300
Fire Rate: 4 rps
Damage: 14/shot
Level 3:
Health: 800
Fire Rate: 5 rps + 4 rockets/sec
Damage: 14/shot + 14/rocket

Passive: Scrap Collector -
25 Scrap per pick-up.
200 Scrap max.

Ultimate: Molten Core (Q) -After overheating his personal forge, Torbjörn gains a significant amount of armor and scrap. He also attacks (and builds and repairs turrets) far faster than normal.
Duration: 8 sec
Health Granted: 500
Automatically upgrades turret from level 2 to level 3.
Increases Rivet Gun fire rate to 2.5 rps and Rivet Gun Alt-Fire to 1.75 rps.
Increases Forge Hammer’s swing rate to 2 swing/sec.

Quick Tips:

  • Torbjorn brings an eclectic set of skills into a battle, and he can only be truly effective if he can leverage each of those, so don’t hide behind the turret, but instead focus on securing control with the turret, collecting scrap and getting headshots with his left click.
  • Torbjorn can deal massive damage if he can manage to get a headshot. Just like Mei, Torbjorn can be swingy in fights. If he can get headshots off, he can decimate a team, but if not he can leave some engagements wanting.
  • Remember to collect scrap and drop armor packs. Low health heroes like Tracer and Xenyatta can make great use of the extra 75 armor, making those heroes infinitely more survivable.
  • Try to use Molten Core in response to damage. If Torbjorn or his turret are already damaged, Molten Core will heal that damage, allowing for both to take more damage in an engagement.
Widowmaker Guide Main sm

Widowmaker

Widowmaker is a killer at long ranges. If left unchecked in an engagement, Widow can singlehandedly kill an entire team in a matter of seconds.

Real Name: Amélie Lacroix, Age: 33
Occupation: Assassin
Base of Operations: Annecy, France
Affiliation: Talon

Health: 200
Difficulty: **

Widow’s Kiss: Assault (Left Click) -Widowmaker’s versatile sniper rifle is ideal for scope-aimed shots at distant targets. Should targets close to medium range, the rifle can also be fired in fully-automatic mode.
Ammo: 30
Fire Rate: 10 rps
Reload: 1.5 sec
Damage: 13

Widow’s Kiss: Sniper (Right Click + Left Click) -
Ammo: 3 per shot
Reload: 1.5 sec
Damage: 12-120
Widow’s Kiss: Sniper charges to 100% in 1 sec.

Grappling Hook (Shift) - Widowmaker launches a grappling hook towards the location she’s aiming at – when the hook connects with a scalable surface, she’s quickly drawn towards it, allowing her to expand her view of the battlefield and evade or flank targets.
Cooldown: 12
Range: 20 meters

Venom Mine (E) - Widowmaker adheres a swiftly-arming venom mine to nearly any surface. When a target wanders within range of the mine’s motion trigger, it explodes, delivering poison gas to any enemies in the vicinity.
Duration: 5 sec
Cooldown: 15 sec
Damage: 75 over 5 sec
Range: 3 meter radius

Ultimate: Infra-Sight (Q) - Widowmaker’s recon visor allows her to see the heat signatures of her targets through walls and objects for a moderate amount of time. This enhanced vision is shared with her allies.
Duration: 15.5 sec

Quick Tips:

  • Widow punishes aggressive heroes that have little to no mobility, and heroes like Pharah or Bastion who sacrifice mobility to be more effective in a fight. She has trouble when heroes jump on top of her, but her toolkit makes it easy for her to run away if needed.
  • While Venom Mine does little damage, it can be a great tool to use as an alarm of approaching danger.
  • While Widow’s Assault weapon is less powerful than her Sniper rifle, it can still do a lot of damage in a pinch.
  • Widow can body shot some heroes (Zenyatta and Tracer) with a full charge.

Tank Heroes

D.Va Guide Main sm

D.Va

D.Va is a tank that can output serious damage at close range. Her Boosters help her push into the enemy’s front line. Because of her high armor, she is particularly effective against teams with low burst damage potential.

Real Name: Hana Song, Age: 19
Occupation: Pro Gamer (formerly), Mech Pilot
Base of Operations: Busan, South Korea
Affiliation: Mobile Exo-Force of the Korean Army

Mech:
Health: 100
Armor: 400
Pilot:
Health: 150
Difficulty: **

Pilot:Light Gun (Left Click) - “While outside of her mech, D.Va can continue the fight with a mid-range automatic blaster.
Ammo: 20
Fire Rate: 6.66 rps
Damage: 14

Pilot: Ultimate: Call Mech (Q) - If her armored battle suit is destroyed, D.Va can call down a fresh mech and return to the fray.
Cast time: 20 sec
Damage: 50

Mech: Fusion Canons (Left Click) - D.Va's mech is equipped with twin short-range rotating cannons. They lay down continuous, high-damage fire without needing to reload, but slow D.Va’s movement while they’re active.
Ammo: Infinite
Fire Rate: 7 rps
Reload: No reload
Damage: 8 pellets, 3 - 5 per pellet (Subject to falloff)

Mech: Boosters (Shift) - D.Va’s mech launches into the air, her momentum carrying her forward. She can turn and change directions or barrel through her enemies, knocking them back.
Duration: 2 sec
Cooldown: 5 sec
Damage: 25
Range: 25 meter flight

Mech: Defense Matrix (E) - D.Va can activate this forward-facing targeting array to shoot incoming projectiles out of the air.
Duration: 3 sec
Cooldown: 10 sec
Range: 15 meters long

Mech: Passive: Eject! -
D.Va ejects out of her Mech when it is destroyed.

Mech: Ultimate: Self-Destruct (Q) - D.Va ejects from her mech and sets its reactor to explode, dealing massive damage to nearby opponents.
Cast time: 4 sec
Damage: 1000 (Subject to falloff, can damage self)
Range: 20 meter explosion radius

Quick Tips:

  • D.Va excells in close combat, especially because while her mech might die in an engagment, her pilot form can ususually make a swift getaway. With that in mind, play aggressively and cause havoc on the enemy’s backlines.
  • D.Va’s pilot form is the smallest model in the game, and it can be very hard to hit. She also puts out a great deal of damage. Just because the mech is dead doesn’t mean D.Va is weak.
  • Use D.Va’s boosters in conjunction with Self-Destruct to lob the detonating mech at the opponents; they will have less time to react if the mech surprises them.
  • Since Defense Matrix has a long cooldown, it is best to hold onto that ability if you suspect a hero like Pharah has her ultimate ready.
Reinhardt Guide Main sm

Reinhardt

Reinhardt is the tank of tanks. Able to take the brunt of an entire enemy team, he is best at providing a large area of protection, and is exceptionally strong in close combat situations.

Real Name: Reinhardt Wilhelm, Age: 61
Occupation: Adventurer
Base of Operations: Stuttgart, Germany
Affiliation: Overwatch (formerly)

Health: 300
Armor: 200
Difficulty: *

Rocket Hammer (Left Click) -
Reinhardt’s Rocket Hammer is an exemplary melee weapon, able to deal punishing damage in a wide arc with every swing.
Melee only
Fire rate: 1 swing/sec
Damage: 75
Range: 5 meters

Barrier Field (Right Click) - Reinhardt projects a broad, forward-facing energy barrier, which can absorb substantial damage before it is destroyed. Though Reinhardt can protect himself and his companions behind the barrier, he cannot attack while sustaining it.
Shield Strength: 2000
Regens 225 health/sec when not deployed. (3 sec cooldown)
If Barrier Field is destroyed, it imposes a 5 second cooldown.

Charge (Shift) - Reinhardt charges forth in a straight line, pinning the first enemy in his path and knocking others aside. If he collides with a wall, the foe he’s carrying suffers extreme damage.
Duration: 3 sec if doesn’t hit
Cooldown: 10 sec
Damage: Initial hit: 50; Pin: 300
Range: 50 meters

Fire Strike (E) - By whipping his Rocket Hammer forward, Reinhardt slings a flaming projectile which pierces and damages any enemies it touches.
Cast Time: .25 sec
Cooldown: 6 sec
Damage: 100

Ultimate: Earth Shatter (Q) - Reinhardt forcefully slams his Rocket Hammer into the ground, knocking down and damaging all enemies in front of him.
Cast time: .5 sec
Damage: 50
Stun Duration: 2.5 sec
Range: 20 meters
Earth Shatter can be held to delay activation.

Quick Tips:

  • Reinhardt should be the bulwark for his team. Stand in front of squishier or less mobile heroes like Bastion or Soldier: 76, so they have the ability to deal damage to the enemy without taking damage themselves.
  • Be careful about charging forward. If you abandon your team, they might die without you, and if you put yourself in a disadvantageous position, you can die easily when surrounded; however, the charge can kill most heroes in Overwatch, so it can be worth it if you can get the right pick.
  • Rienhardt’s shield takes time to recharge, so don’t be afraid to retreat to recharge if it is about to go down.
  • Reinhardt is one of the best heroes to stand on a payload, or a capture point. When in doubt, stand on the point!
Roadhog Guide Main sm

Roadhog

Roadhog’s hook combo can one shot most heroes, making him particularly adept at eliminating troublesome damage dealers and supports from the enemy’s front lines.

Real Name: Mako Rutledge, Age: 48
Occupation: Enforcer (formerly), Bodyguard
Base of Operations: Junkertown, Australia (formerly)
Affiliation: Junkers (formerly)

Health: 600
Difficulty: *

Scrap Gun (Left Click) -
Roadhog's Scrap Gun fires short-range blasts of shrapnel with a wide spread. Alternatively, it can launch a shrapnel ball that detonates farther away, scattering metal fragments from the point of impact.
Ammo: 4
Fire Rate: 1 rps
Reload: 1.5 sec
Damage: 25 pellets; 4 - 9 per pellet (subject to falloff)

Scrap Gun Alt-Fire (Right Click) -
Explodes after 8 meters
Explosion Damage: 50
Damage: 25 pellets; 9 damage per pellet

Chain Hook (Shift) - Roadhog hurls his chain at a target; if it catches, he yanks them into close range.
Cooldown: 6
Damage: 30
Range: 21-22 meters

Take a Breather (E) - Roadhog restores a chunk of his health over a brief period of time.
Duration: 1 sec
Cooldown: 8 sec
Heals: 300 health

Ultimate: Whole Hog (Q) - After cramming a top-loader onto his Scrap Gun, Roadhog pours in ammo. For a short time, he can crank out a stream of shrapnel that knocks back enemies.
Duration: 6 sec
Damage: 7 per pellet

Quick Tips:

  • Roadhog is best when played as an off tank, as he does not offer any shielding abilities for his team, but he makes up for that deficit by being able to erase enemies off the map.
  • His hook combo involves using Chain Hook and immediately using the left click to damage the opponent. It can shred most heroes instantly.
  • Remember Roadhog can regenerate his health, so engaging and retreating after taking some damage is perfectly acceptable. Use this to harass, or throw hooks.
  • Scrap Gun’s Alt-Fire is hard to hit, but it allows Roadhog to not have to fully commit to a fight if he does not want to.
Winston Guide Main sm

Winston

Winston is best at engaging opposing backlines. By jumping into the back and causing all sorts of havoc, Winston creates an opening for his team to take down their opposition.

Real Name: Winston, Age: 29
Occupation: Scientist, Adventurer
Base of Operations: Horizon Lunar Colony (formerly)
Affiliation: Overwatch (formerly)

Health: 400
Armor: 100
Difficulty: **

Tesla Cannon (Left Click) -
Winston’s weapon fires a short-range electric barrage for as long as he holds down the trigger.
Ammo: 100
Fire rate: 20 rps
Reload: 1.5 sec
Damage: ~54 dps
Range: 8 meters (about 6 meters wide)

Jump Pack (Shift) - Assisted by his energy pack, Winston lunges through the air, dealing significant damage and staggering nearby enemies when he lands.
Cooldown: 6 sec
Damage: 50
Range: 5 meter landing radius

Barrier Projector (E) - Winston’s barrier projector extends a bubble-shaped field that absorbs damage until it's destroyed. Allies protected by the barrier can return fire from within it.
Duration: 5 sec
Cooldown: 13 sec
Shield Strength: 600
Range: 5 meter radius

Ultimate: Primal Rage (Q) - Winston embraces his animal nature, significantly boosting his health and making him very difficult to kill, strengthening his melee attack, and allowing him to use his Jump Pack ability more frequently. While raging, Winston can only make melee and Jump Pack attacks.
Ultimate Health: 1000
Duration: 10 sec
Damage: 40
Range: 4 meter swings
Resets and reduces the cooldown on Jump Pack for duration. Jump Pack is taken off of cooldown after ult ends.
Barrier Projector cannot be used in Primal Rage.

Quick Tips:

  • Winston is best used as an aggressive tank, jumping into the opposing front lines instead of fortifying his own. He is best at killing squishy backliners such as Widow or Mercy, and he is very difficult to kill without two or three people focusing him.
  • Winston’s Jump Pack is very good for both engaging and disengaging. If Winston uses his Jump Pack to engage, however, he is liable to being killed before he can disengage; as a result, sometimes it is best to try to flank the opposing team on foot and then disengaging with the jump pack after.
  • Use Primal Rage after you start fighting the team, not before engaging them. It can offer a couple hundred more damage to the opponents while netting you an extra 200 to 300 health for the engagement.
  • Do not play afraid. Winston’s job is to be in the opponent’s face. If you cannot engage them directly (if there are too many Bastions for example) it is best to swap to another hero.
Zarya Guide Main sm

Zarya

Zarya is a front line character that deals just as much damage as she receives. Best in short range engagements and securing area for her team, she also is able to save her allies in tight situations.

Real Name: Aleksandra Zaryanova, Age: 28
Occupation: Soldier
Base of Operations: Krasnoyarsk Front, Russia
Affiliation: Russian Defense Forces

Health: 200
Shield: 200
Difficulty: ***

Particle Cannon (Left Click) -
Zarya’s mighty Particle Cannon unleashes a short-range beam of destructive energy. Alternatively, Zarya can lob an explosive charge to strike multiple opponents.
Ammo: 100
Fire rate: 20 rps
Reload: 1.5 sec
Damage: 80 dps (150 at max energy)
Range: 15 meters

Particle Cannon Alt-Fire (Right Click)
Ammo: 25 per shot
Fire rate: 1 rps
Damage: 46 (95 at max energy)
Range: fires in long range arc, 2 meter radius

Particle Barrier (Shift) - The Particle Cannon can emit a personal barrier that shields Zarya against incoming attacks, redirecting their energy to enhance her weapon’s damage and the width of its beam.
Cast on self.
Duration: 2 sec
Cooldown: 10 sec
Shield Strength: 200
If fully destroyed, the shield gives Zarya 50% energy.

Projected Barrier (E) - Zarya surrounds one of her teammates with an energy barrier that simultaneously absorbs fire and boosts the power of her Particle Cannon.
Cast on ally.
Duration: 2 sec
Cooldown: 8 sec
Shield strength: 200
Range: 30 meters.
If fully destroyed, the shield gives Zarya 50% energy.

Passive: Energy -
Damage blocked increases Particle Cannon damage.
Gives 3%/5 shield damage taken.
Degrades at 2%/sec.
Damage in increased linearly. 50% energy = 50% more damage.

Ultimate: Graviton Surge (Q) - Zarya launches a gravity bomb that draws in enemy combatants and deals damage while they’re trapped.
Duration: 4 sec
Damage: 22 damage over 4 sec
Range: 8 meter radius

Quick Tips:

  • Zarya is a frontliner, and while she cannot protect her whole team like Reinhardt, she can output a lot more damage than him. She also can counter abilities such as Rip-Tire with a quick shield, and her ultimate can lead to team wipes all by itself.
  • The most difficult thing for Zarya to execute is charging her shields. She has to force her opponents to damage her (otherwise they’ll just ignore her), and as a result she has to play forward.
  • Try to rotate shield use, as Zarya can keep high energy longer as long as the shields are rotated efficiently.
  • Do not be afraid of running into a fight and backing out. Even if Zarya’s shields are taken down, she has a built in regen mechanic with her shield. Take advantage of that, and use it to charge her up.
  • Let your team know if you are about to use Zarya’s ult. While Zarya can wipe a team if at 100%, an ability like Hanzo’s ult or Pharah’s ult comboed with Zarya’s ult is always devastating.

Support Heroes

ana_guide_main_sm

Ana

Ana is a strong support at long and short range. Her unique crowd control ability and singular focusing ultimate makes her a strong utility player along side more teamfight oriented supports.
Real Name: Ana Amari, Age: 60
Occupation: Bounty Hunter
Base of Operations: Cairo, Egypt
Affiliation: Overwatch (formerly)

HP: 200
Difficulty: ***

Biotic Rifle (Left Click) - “Ana’s rifle shoots darts that can restore health to her allies or deal ongoing damage to her enemies. She can use the rifle’s scope to zoom in on targets and make highly accurate shots.
Ammo: 6
Fire Rate: 1 rps
Reload: 1.5 sec
Healing: 75 (over a short period)
Damage 80 (over a short period)

Biotic Rifle Scoped (Right + Left Click) -
Ammo: 6
Fire Rate: 1 rps
Healing: 75 (over a short period)
Damage 80 (over a short period)

Sleep Dart (Left Shift) - Ana fires a dart from her sidearm, rendering an enemy unconscious (though any damage will rouse them).
Duration: 5 sec
Cooldown: 12 sec
Damage: 5
Biotic Grenade (E) - "Ana tosses a biotic bomb that deals damage to enemies and heals allies in a small area of effect. Affected allies briefly receive increased healing from all sources, while enemies caught in the blast cannot be healed for a few moments."
Duration: 5 sec
Cooldown: 10 sec
Heals: 100
Damage: 60

Ultimate: Nano Boost (Q) - “After Ana hits one of her allies with a combat boost, they temporarily move faster, deal more damage, and take less damage from enemies’ attacks.
Duration: 8 sec
Damage Reduction: 25%
Increased Movement Speed: 30%
Increased Damage: 50%

Quick Tips:

  • Ana provides some of the highest heals per second of any hero; however, this is dependent on the player's ability to hit their allies. For the healing ability on Biotic Rifle, allies have large hit boxes, but enemies have much smaller ones.
  • Ana's heals work in more burst increments as opposed to other healers. Use this to your advantage by luring enemies to kill an almost dead ally before bursting them back to life with a Biotic Grenade.
  • The most powerful tool in Ana's kit is her Sleep Dart. Use this ability to lock down flankers and set them up for a quick combo kill using the Biotic Rifle, a Biotic Grenade and a melee attack in quick succession. This combo deals 175 damage in under a second.
  • Ana's ultimate, Nano Boost, is best when used on tank heroes, because tank heroes can both take advantage of the damage increase and (more importantly) the damage reduction given by the boost.
Lucio Guide Main sm

Lucio

Lucio deals low damage, but he brings a powerful heal and a movement speed aura. His ultimate is particularly strong at countering other powerful teamfight ultimates.

Real Name: Lúcio Correia dos Santos, Age: 26
Occupation: DJ, Freedom Fighter
Base of Operations: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Affiliation: None

HP: 200
Difficulty: **

Sonic Amplifier (Right Click) -
Lúcio can hit his enemies with sonic projectiles or knock them back with a blast of sound.
Ammo: 20
Fire Rate: 4 rps (Fire 4 shots in a burst)

Soundwave (Left Click) -
Ammo: 4 per burst
Cooldown: 4 sec
Damage: 16

Crossfade: Speed : Lúcio continuously energizes himself—and nearby teammates—with music. He can switch between two songs: one amplifies movement speed, while the other regenerates health.
Range: 30 Meters
Passive: Increases base movement speed by ~30%

Crossfade: Heal
Range: 30 Meters
Passive: Heals 25 damage/2 sec

Amp it up: Lúcio increases the volume on his speakers, boosting the effects of his songs.
Duration: 3 sec
Cooldown: 12 sec
Speed Boost: Increases base movement speed by ~110%
Healing Boost: Heals 120 damage/3 sec

Passive: Wall Ride -
Wall Ride cannot be used consecutively on the same wall.

Ultimate: Sound Barrier - Protective waves radiate out from Lúcio’s Sonic Amplifier, briefly providing him and nearby allies with personal shields.
Duration: 6 Seconds
Shield Strength: 500 Health
Effect can be blocked by enemy shields.
The shield decreases over time.

Quick Tips:

  • Because he does very little damage, Lucio is primarily an aura support. His speed boost is an utterly unique ability, and it provides an insane amount of utility. He also provides a great deal of team sustain, and the unique ability to counter ultimates with his own.
  • Be careful about using Amp it Up; the ability has a decently long cooldown, and the best way to gain ultimate charge is by Amping Up healing in the middle of a fight.
  • Remember that Lucio can bring teammates back to the fight sooner, so when you die, be sure to pay attention to the respawn timers of your teammates, so both of you can walk back together.
  • Lucio’s Amp It Up can be used in conjunction with his crossfade; if Lucio needs to run away quickly and heal, he can Amp It Up for speed for a short duration and then Crossfade to heal for the rest of the amp it up duration.
  • Try to anticipate and counter your opponent’s ultimates with Sound Barrier. A well timed sound barrier can counter a Zarya or Parah ultimate.
Mercy Guide Main sm

Mercy

Mercy excels at single target healing, and following heroes into dangerous spots. Her ultimate generates quickly and can easily change the tide of an engagement.

Real Name: Angela Ziegler, Age: 37
Occupation: Field Medic, First Responder
Base of Operations: Zürich, Switzerland
Affiliation: Overwatch (formerly)

HP: 200
Difficulty: *

Caduceus Staff (Left Click: Heal, Right Click: Damage Amplify) -
"Mercy engages one of two beams that connect to an ally. By maintaining the beams, she can either restore that ally’s health or increase the amount of damage they deal.
Range: 15 Meters
Heal: 50 Healing/Sec
Damage Amp: Increases damage by 30%
Note: Remember to turn on “Toggle Beam Target” in the options menu for Mercy.

Caduceus Blaster (2, Left Click) - Mercy shoots a round from her sidearm. It's best reserved for emergency personal defense.
Ammo: 20
Fire Rate: 5 rps
Reload: 1 sec
Damage: 20

Guardian Angel (Shift) - Mercy flies towards a targeted ally, allowing her to reach them quickly and provide assistance in crucial moments.
Cooldown: 2 sec
Range: 30 meters

Passive: Angelic Descent (Space) - Propelled by her Valkyrie suit, Mercy slows the speed of her descent from great heights.

Passive: Self-Heal -
Mercy heals after taking no damage for 3 sec.
Heal: 25 healing/sec

Ultimate: Resurrect (Q) - Mercy radiates restorative power, bringing nearby dead allies back into the fight with full health.
Cast time: 1 sec
Range: 15 meters
Resurrects heroes within 10 seconds of their death.
If Mercy dies during her ultimate, she will still resurrect her teammates.

Quick Tips

  • Mercy outputs a large amount of healing to single targets, and provides a unique damage amplification for her team. She is also the most mobile support, and can leap out of a difficult situation.
  • Mercy’s ultimate charges relatively quickly, so don’t be afraid of using it to only resurrect one or two team members (so long as it could help win the fight).
  • Mercy can be comboed with mobile heroes like Winston or Pharah to provide pocket healing deep into the enemy’s lines, or she can be used to amplify the damage of a hero like Bastion to shred the opposing team’s frontline.
  • Mercy’s pistol outputs quite a bit of damage, so don’t be afraid to use it when caught alone.
Symmetra Guide Main sm

Symetra

Symetra brings a unique toolkit to a battle, including powerful (but fragile) static defense turrets, a way to bypass shields, and a teleporter to bring troops back into the battle more quickly.

Real Name: Satya Vaswani, Age: 28
Occupation: Architech
Base of Operations: Utopaea, India
Affiliation: Vishkar Corporation

Health: 100
Shield: 100
Difficulty: **

Photon Projector (Left Click) -
Symmetra’s weapon emits a short-range beam that homes in on a nearby enemy, dealing continuous damage that increases the longer it is connected. The projector can also release a charged energy ball that deals high damage.
Ammo: 100
Fire Rate: 7-8 rps
Reload: 1 sec
Damage: Increases for every 1 second attached - Level 1: 30 dps; Level 2: 60 dps; Level 3: 120 dps.
Range: 5 Meters
Photon Projector Alt-Fire (Right Click)
Ammo: 20 max/shot
Cast time: max 2 sec
Damage: 25 - 125
Photon Projector Alt-Fire pierces enemies and shields.

Sentry Turret (Shift) - Symmetra sets up a small turret that automatically fires speed-reducing blasts at the nearest enemy within range. Several turrets can be built on the battlefield at once.
HP: 1
Ammo: 3 (6 max)
Cast time: 1 sec
Cooldown: 1 per 10 sec
Damage: 25 dps
Range: 10 meters

Photon Shield (E) - Symmetra surrounds an ally with a hard-light shield that absorbs damage and persists as long as that ally remains alive.
Cooldown: 1 sec
Shield Strength: 25
Range: 20 meters

Ultimate: Teleporter (Q) - Symmetra places a teleporter exit pad at her current location, and connects it to a teleporter entry pad at her team’s starting point. Allies can travel through the entry pad to the exit pad instantly, enabling them to return to the fight swiftly after being defeated.
Cast time: 2 sec
Duration: 6 charges.
After a point is taken the Teleporter will be destroyed, refunding Symetra ultimate based on the charges remaining.

Quick Tips:

  • Symetra brings a lot of different abilities to the table, so she is sometimes hard to fit into a composition. She is particularly able to buff up heroes that would otherwise be oneshot by many abilities (like Tracer or Zenyatta).
  • Remember to hide your turrets. They can be placed high up on points or behind shrubbery. The longer it takes for your opponents to find your turrets, the more damage they will do.
  • Symetra can output a lot of damage with her left click over time, and her ability to cut through Reinhardt shields is invaluable when countering Reinhard Bastion combos.
  • Symetra’s ultimate can charge very quickly, and her teleporter is reset after a point is taken, so do not be afraid to place the teleporter down. Try to hide it, but it will not be long before you have the ability to make another one.
Zenyatta Guide Main sm

Zenyatta

Zenyatta is a glass cannon support. Part long range nuker, part sustain, Zenyatta can give hyper aggressive compositions added flexibility and power.

Real Name: Tekhartha Zenyatta, Age: 20
Occupation: Wandering Guru, Adventurer
Base of Operations: Shambali Monastery, Nepal (formerly)
Affiliation: The Shambali (formerly)

Health: 50
Shield: 100
Difficulty: ***

Orb of Destruction (Left-Click) -
Zenyatta projects his destructive energy orbs either individually, or in a rapid-fire volley after a few seconds spent gathering power.
Ammo: 20
Fire rate: 3 rps
Reload: 2 sec
Damage: 45

Orb of Destruction Alt-Fire (Right-Click)
Ammo: Up to 5/shot
Cast time: 2-2.5 sec
Damage: 35 per hit (up to 175)

Orb of Harmony (Shift) - Zenyatta casts an orb over the shoulder of a targeted ally. So long as Zenyatta maintains line of sight, the orb slowly restores health to his ally. Only one ally can receive the orb's benefit at a time.
Up to 1 active at a time
Duration: Returns to Zenyatta if out of sight for more than 3 seconds.
Heals: 30 health/sec
Range: 40 meters

Orb of Discord (E) - Attaching the orb of discord to an opponent amplifies the amount of damage they receive for as long as Zenyatta maintains line of sight. Only one opponent can suffer the orb's effects at a time.
Up to 1 active at a time.
Duration: Returns to Zenyatta if out of sight for more than 3 seconds.
Range: 40 meters
Increases damage taken by 50%
Does not piece barriers.

Ultimate: Transcendence (Q) - Zenyatta enters a state of heightened existence for a short period of time. While transcendent, Zenyatta cannot use abilities or weapons, but is immune to damage and automatically restores his health and that of nearby allies.
Duration: 6 sec
Heals: 130 health/sec
Range: 10 meter radius
Zenyatta is immune to damage during Transcendence.

Quick Tips:

  • Zenyatta is a high risk, high reward support. He provides both sustain for his team, while also having the potential to output a large amount of damage at the risk of his own death.
  • Zenyatta deals the most damage of any support, and can deal it at long range.
  • Use Zenyatta’s Discord Orb to help tear through high HP units like Roadhog and D.Va.
  • Zenyatta’s Harmony Orb can heal people out of line of sight for a short period, so give it to teammates who are going around corners to engage.
  • Zenyatta has no footsteps. Take advantage of that to sneak up on unsuspecting opponents.

Hero data is thanks to @SpriteGuy and his wonderful Oversheet.
