Diablo III Season 6 is now live! Joining in the challenge for this Season is easy- just generate a character as you would normally and select “Seasonal Hero” in the lower left-hand side.

What Are Seasons?

The Seasonal game mode offers players on the PC platform the option to create a new character that is completely seperate from any Paragon experience, currencies or items that they may have accumulated over the years of gameplay. Heroes have their own storage and Artisan progression shared among the other Seasonal characters on that account and, as an added bonus, experience, Artisan progression, currency, material, recipes and items are added to the player’s non-seasonal profile once the Season is over.  (Image Courtesy of Blizzard)

This season, players have the opportunity to earn exclusive, limited-time rewards like Transmogrification sets, achievements, portrait frames and more. Seasonal progress is tracked on the Seasons Journey interface and the Seasonal Leaderboard

Season Journey Updates

Each Season will bring with it brand new objectives, so you’re sure to have something new to do while earning some neat rewards. Complete these objectives to earn set pieces for Season 6:

  • Chapter III: Reach Level 70
  • Chapter IV: Defeat Izual at level 70 on Torment II or higher
  • Chapter IV: Complete a Greater Rift Level 20 solo.

Players are only eligible to earn one full class set per Season, so pick your hero carefully, because this applies to Hardcore and Non-Hardcore characters. Here is an example of the sets you can find while Questing through Season 6:

  • Barbarian – Legacy of Raekor: Furious Charge takes front and center with this set, refunding charges, dealing huge amounts of damage, and empowering the next Fury spender of your choice. Zip around from combat to combat, overrunning your enemies, and smashing them to smithereens!
  • Crusader – Armor of Akkhan: This flexible set utilizes the Akarat’s Champion skill, massively reducing the skill’s cooldown and empowering your other abilities while it’s active. All skills enjoy 50% reduced costs and a huge boost in damage while you embody the raw, holy energy of the legendary prophet, Akkhan.
  • Demon Hunter – Embodiment of the Marauder: Also known as the Sentry set, Marauder’s capitalizes on these little turrets by enhancing their damage, along with certain Hatred spenders and your primary skills. Emboldened by an army of Companions, you’ll be able to rain death from all directions as your Sentries will cast Elemental Arrow, Chakram, Impale, Multishot, or Cluster Arrow when you do!
  • Monk – Inna’s Mantra: Your Monk will never be alone, protected by all Mystic Allies and Mantras while donning the power of Inna’s Mantra. The effects of these skills are also enhanced, and you’ll find as long as your Mystic Allies remain at your side, your damage will also receive impressive benefits.
  • Witch Doctor – Zunimassa’s Haunt: The veritable “pet set,” your Fetish Army will remain by your side and protect yourself and any summons you might have as long as they live. Feel free to use any Mana spender you choose, as whatever you throw at your enemies will enhance the damage your summoned army deals.
  • Wizard – Delsere’s Magnum Opus: Wizards can bubble their troubles (and look magnificent in the process) with Delsere’s Magnum Opus. Slow Time is at the core of this spender-heavy set, and you’ll want to look at Arcane Orb, Energy Twister, Explosive Blast, Magic Missile, Shock Pulse, Spectral Blade, or Wave of Force to complement your build.

New and Updated Conquests

We see the return of a few Conquests from bygone Seasons, which have been updated to take into account Class and Armor increases over time:

Speed Demon and Boss Mode will challenge you to defeat specific bosses within a set amount of time.

On a Good Day and I Can’t Stop will put your crafting skills to the test, requiring you to level three Legendary Gems to Level 65.

Divinity or Lionhearted will give the solo players something to work towards, by reaching Greater Rift Level 75 while solo.

Curses! and Stars Align has you slaughter 350 demons in a Cursed Chest Event.

New Cosmetic Rewards

Season 6 continues the re-rotation of cosmetic rewards introduced in Season 5!

This season features a unique portrait frame, pieces for the Conqueror’s Transmogrification set and, for the players that complete Chapter 4, they will receive this lovely pennant on which to display your banner.

Season Journey Rewards

Last Season, we were given the opportunity to acquire more valuable stash space by completing the full Season Journey. This opportunity returns in Season 6 for those who acquire the Conqueror title.

Here’s the list of things to complete in order to acquire the Conqueror tier of the Season Journey:

  • Complete a Torment X Nephalem Rift in under 4 minutes
  • Level 3 Legendary Gems to Rank 55 or higher
  • Complete any two Conquests
  • Kill Rakanoth in under 15 seconds on Torment X
  • Slay Greed on Torment X
  • Clear Greater Rift 60 Solo

Hey Y’all!
Keos (Kay-oos) here I have been playing wow since vanilla. Back then i was a Warrior and was a main tank MC and other 40 Man raids. Towards the end of BC i became a Rogue. Not until WOTLK I fell in love with the class i call my main now, the Death Knight. I am not the hardcore raider that i use to be anymore. I still have the passion for WOW like the first day i opened the game for the first time. I most recently have started my adventure of discovering Azeroth from the side of the Alliance. Its an honor to be part of this great team of some of the greatest people I have meet in my adventures in Azeroth.
